Qualifications

• At least 1 year cooking experience; or 6+ months in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud kitchen with a team.
• Professionalism and a passion for hospitality and food.
• Must read and understand recipes and work in English.
• Able to stand for long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and bend/reach as needed.
• Able to comply with hygiene and food-safety standards.
• Willing to contribute to a positive team environment and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic components of each dish using standard recipes.
• Cook meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables with various equipment.
• Stock and maintain line stations for smooth service.
• Portion foods according to size and recipe specs.
• Plate with proper garnish and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and follow hygiene rules.
• Follow serving sizes and basic prep procedures.
• Assist other shifts with prep during off-peak times.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock as scheduled.
• Open/close kitchen and support teammates as needed.
