Founding Farmers Co. Tysons is seeking a Line Cook to join our scratch-kitchen team. You will prepare components, cook proteins and vegetables, and maintain strict food-safety standards to ensure consistent quality for a fast-paced service.

You will work with a dynamic culinary team, with training and growth opportunities, and enjoy competitive pay starting at $17 per hour plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• One year plus of cooking experience or similar high-volume kitchen experience.
• Teamwork in a fast-paced, loud kitchen environment.
• High level of professionalism and passion for hospitality and food.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe to standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic components of each dish using standard recipes.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables with kitchen equipment and techniques.
• Stock and maintain line station supplies to ensure smooth service.
• Portion food products according to standard sizes and recipe specs.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment.
