Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated culinary team member for our Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill location. The Cook assists in production and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquet, dining room, and fine dining, with leadership support for production levels.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Requires strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stand for long periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Have a desire to exceed expectations.
• An energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté and fry).
• Experience using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Reach and recreate recipes.
• Maintain consistency in all food preparation.
• Minimize food waste through cross utilization.
