Job summary

Tocaya is seeking a Line Cook 3 to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and ensure quality and presentation across all items.

A strong emphasis on teamwork, efficiency, and safety is required to support a high-volume operation. Candidates should have previous kitchen experience, a current Food Handlers card, and a commitment to maintaining clean stations and following recipes and standards.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required (preferred).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food preparation.
• Current Food Handlers card or equivalent certification required.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Follow Executive or Chef de Cuisine’s instructions.
• Clean up station and manage leftovers.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure timely, high-quality food delivery and presentation.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.
