Job summary

Pursuit is hiring in Montana for a kitchen role. Full-time or part-time opportunities are available with a starting wage of $22.50/hour. Staff accommodation is not provided; candidates must secure their own housing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hot line experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, food preparation and knife skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and proper handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, organized and attentive to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and willing to assist during service.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock and maintain prep and line stations for efficient service.
• Support banquet, wedding and special event food production as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including the dish machine.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with all safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with prep, cleaning and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Support daily kitchen operations and perform other duties as assigned.
