The Legends Bay Casino is seeking a Line Cook to support the Grill Chef in preparing menu items, finishing, and garnishing while ensuring quality and attractive presentation. You will follow recipes and adhere to kitchen standards.

Candidates should practice proper food handling, maintain a clean workstation, and comply with Health Department sanitation requirements. Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.

• Responsible for preparing menu items as directed by the recipes provided by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef.
• Ensures that the quality and presentation of food products meet company standards.
• Responsible for preparing, finishing and garnishing all menu items.
• Practices proper food and knife handling.
• Uses and applies proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
• Maintain a clean workstation during service time.
• Disinfects and sanitizes cutting boards and worktables.
• Ensures kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are always maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must have related kitchen tools

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
