Job summary

The Beaufort Hotel's 34° North Restaurant is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team in Beaufort, North Carolina. This on-site role supports high-quality food and memorable dining experiences for hotel guests and local visitors.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain presentation and portion control, and collaborate with a strong team to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met during service.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
• Assist with prep work, stocking stations, and kitchen organization
• Ensure all food is handled and stored safely in accordance with sanitation guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and work areas
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and restaurant teams during service
• Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Support banquet and hotel food service operations as needed
