Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Rogers, AR is seeking a Line Cook – Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam, Taco. You’ll work on fry, grill, sauté and steam stations, preparing ingredients from scratch and assembling tacos to order.

Maintain food safety, quality, and presentation while collaborating with the BOH team, stocking ingredients, and keeping stations organized. Previous experience is preferred and certifications must be current, with flexible schedules offered.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification.
• Certification must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to serve guests with a high sense of urgency.
• Ability to have fun!

Responsibilities

• Cooking & Prep: Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations.
• Quality Control: Monitor dish quality and presentation to meet Damn Good standards.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized station.
• Team Collaboration: Work with BOH team to ensure timely, correct prep.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients.
• Efficiency: Maintain urgency during busy periods while preserving quality.
