King’s Hawaiian in Torrance, CA is hiring a dedicated line cook to support our ohana. You will prepare dishes with attention to taste and presentation, prep items for the front line, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

You’ll work across stations and follow health guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction. We value reliable, on‑time team members who contribute to a safe and inviting kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Speaks and understands basic English.
• Ability to work all stations, front line and prep areas.
• Love for food with cooking experience in a restaurant preferred.
• Able to arrive on time for all assigned shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all dishes on menu with emphasis on taste and food quality.
• Prepares items needed for front line.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards per health department.
• Keeps food areas organized and ready for daily business and rush times.
• Cooperates on safety and health procedures in the work area.
