The Line Cook at Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Longleaf Restaurant supports meal preparation and ensures sanitation standards are met. You will stock stations, prepare ingredients, and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes in a timely manner.

Qualifications include 1-2 years of line cook experience and ServSafe certification, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of proven work experience as a line cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• ServSafe certified.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow executive and sous chef’s instructions.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
