Reid's in the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for restaurant guests, delivering quality meals and memorable dining experiences.

Serve Safe or Food Handler’s certification preferred or willing to attain; ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours are required to contribute to a friendly, productive kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification, or willingness to attain.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe handling practices.
• Ensure freshness of food by checking quality and rotating stock.
• Maintain correct temperatures in ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment.
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
