CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Line Cook for Forest Glen Assisted Living and Memory Care in Michigan. You will prepare meals per menus and recipes for residents, guests, and staff, ensuring quality, portion control, and timely service.

Shift options include 11am–7pm and 6am–2pm; previous line cook experience and good communication skills are required to provide safe, compassionate dining experiences for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow food rotation policies.
