Job summary

Naval Station Everett - All American Restaurant is seeking a dependable food service worker to prepare and serve meals within the CNIC NAF Food and beverage program. You will follow recipes, manage ingredients, and help maintain sanitation and inventory.

The role requires the ability to work irregular hours, lift up to 45 pounds, perform cash-handling duties, and pass a background investigation. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and you will join a team dedicated to quality and federal

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Irregular working hours including early/late shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Background investigation required.
• Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Grill or fry various food items and perform cooking tasks per recipes and requirements.
• Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes and prep salads, desserts, juices, and fruit trays.
• Prepare toast, salads, dressings, and sandwiches; plate food for serving.
• Prepare vegetables and fruits for serving as instructed.
• Transport cooked food to serving areas in steam carts and food trucks.
• Wash and clean kitchen equipment and work area; maintain cleanliness of refrigerators and grills.
