Job summary

Naval Station Everett All American Restaurant is hiring for a food service position within the CNIC MWR program. The role involves preparing a variety of breakfast and menu items, following recipes, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced federal kitchen.

You will handle basic cooking tasks, measure ingredients, and assist with inventory while supporting service to service members, families, and civilian staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and prepare plain or specialty items.
• Basic arithmetic and reading instructions.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately.

Responsibilities

• Performs grilling or frying of pancakes, burgers, eggs, bacon and more while monitoring cooking times.
• Measures and weighs ingredients per recipes for salads, desserts, and sides.
• Prepares toast, salads, dressings, and sandwiches.
• Prepares vegetables and fruits for serving and portion control.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
• May assist in inventory and cash fund accountability as required.
