Job summary

Navy Life PNW supports the Military's Quality of Life through CNIC MWR, located at Naval Station Everett Food & Beverage. We are filling two flexible and two part-time roles to support dining and related services.

Resumes should clearly show KSAs related to food handling, safety, and customer service. Training will cover certificate requirements, hygiene, and safe operation of service areas.

Qualifications

• Incumbent must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
• Understanding of basic food handling techniques.
• Ability to follow oral directions and routine manual tasks involving a few steps.
• Must follow personal hygiene standards such as hairnet use and handwashing.
• Ability to read and understand schedules, menus and recipes.
• Ability to work safely moving carts and handling dishes with care.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic may be necessary.

Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is located at Naval Station Everett Food & Beverage. Seeking to fill 2 flexible and 2 part-time positions *Weekly review of applicants*

A qualified candidate possesses the following:

• Incumbent must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
• Understanding of basic food handling techniques
• Ability to follow oral directions and routine manual tasks involving a few steps
• Must have understanding of personal hygiene standards such as wearing a hairnet and washing hands before touching food and not touching rims of cups/glasses
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and material such as schedules, menus, and recipes
• Must have the ability to work safely by moving carts without running into things, stacking dishes without mishaps, and wiping up spilled foods and liquids to prevent falls
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic may be necessary
