Job summary

Sixty Vines in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Line Cook to join a chef-driven kitchen focused on seasonal cuisine and open scratch cooking. You will cook and plate items, ensure timing aligns with menu standards, and maintain high food quality with a strong attention to sanitation.

You will read tickets, work with a team, and follow health regulations while supporting a guest-focused dining experience. Flexible schedules and 60-day insurance are offered along with PTO after a year.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand tickets.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures.
• Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest.
• Detail Oriented: Carries out tasks with required details.
• Team Player: Works well in a group.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare all food products according to prescribed methods and recipes.
• Follow and maintain outlined cook times for all items.
• Maintain the highest level of food quality possible.
• Receive and store products according to local health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment.
• Label and date all products prepared.
• Communicate with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
