Job summary

Grand Living in Venice, FL is seeking a Line Cook to contribute to high-quality meals for residents and guests. You will work under the Executive Chef, focusing on meat, vegetables, breads, and desserts with attention to portion control and consistency.

The role requires flexibility for AM/PM shifts and a Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday schedule. A high school diploma or GED and culinary training are preferred, with prior line cook experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Culinary Arts or Apprenticeship preferred.
• One+ years of cooking in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Experience with scratch cooking preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to communicate with staff and Residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with quality and portion control.
• Support the Executive Chef and kitchen team in daily operations.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary work environment in line with standards.
