Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is seeking a Cook Trainee/Line Cook under the direction of the Sous Chef to prepare foods listed on the menus by grilling, frying, broiling, or pantry work. You will ensure plates are visually appealing and cooked to customer specifications with a clean, organized workstation.

Qualified candidates have basic food preparation knowledge and at least one year of line cook or cook trainee experience, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate common kitchen

Qualifications

• Basic food preparation knowledge and line work experience.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods that are grilled, fried, broiled, or pantry items; ensure plates are aesthetically appealing and cooked to customer specifications.
• Recognize sauces and properly place them on entrees on daily menus.
• Maintain clean work station; assist coworkers to ensure efficient line operation.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds; use standard kitchen equipment.
