Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Minnesota is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items according to company policies and performance standards, while maximizing guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive work environment under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty. You will be responsible for proper portioning, hygiene, and timely service, with ongoing focus on food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

Basic sanitation, safety and customer service are taught through in-house training.
Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Reports to work well groomed, in a clean uniform and maintains hygiene.
Uses, maintains, and cleans kitchen equipment and prep areas.
Stocks and rotates products on cooking line.
Knows cooking stations, menu items and prep procedures for proper portions and timing.
Cooks and prepares menu items according to guest requests and standards.
Monitors food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
Identifies and fixes system issues to maximize guest satisfaction.
Communicates with Manager on Duty and coworkers about deficiencies or safety problems.
