Qualifications

• 2 years of restaurant/culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service setting preferred.
• Time management and organizational ability essential for high-quality food production.
• Ability to work with minimal direction to complete tasks.
• Knife skills training and basic kitchen equipment usage recommended.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations for smooth service.
• Follow item specifications for preparation, execution and presentation.
• Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies.
• Prevent spoilage and contamination by proper sanitation and health compliance.
• Maintain a clean workstation including equipment and surfaces.
• Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, line, prep areas, and dish area.
• Report maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef.
• Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules as outlined in the handbook.
