Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a kitchen team member to produce and maintain menu items per recipes and specifications. You will ensure safety, sanitation, and food standards are met in line with our procedures and timeliness.

You will be responsible for station readiness, portion control, cleanliness, and teamwork while supporting prep and receiving activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety, sanitation and food standards according to recipes.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance fluctuating workload.
• Must be a team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Be on station and ready to work at scheduled time in proper uniform.
• Maintain pace: brisk and steady, organized, no unnecessary steps.
• Adhere to 100% recipe knowledge when prepping or assisting.
• Perform portion control using scales, spoons, and recipe cards.
• Keep kitchen and equipment clean; practice clean as you go.
• Demonstrate productivity through quality and quantity of output.
• Maintain organization and think ahead to stock supplies before rush.
• Work as a team and adhere to OSHA safety guidelines.
• Handle safe food handling and proper receiving/stocking of ingredients.
• Provide prep support as needed.
