Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team at our travel centers across the country. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests, ensuring guest satisfaction and timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is a plus.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Operate grill, broiler, fryer, and grill stations per line check sheets; prepare products to guest specifications.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and waste control; follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Maintain equipment per operating standards.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
