Job summary

Quaker Steak & Lube is seeking a Line Cook responsible for preparing menu items per company standards in a clean, safe kitchen. A successful Line Cook takes pride in their work, communicates well under pressure, and helps create a great experience for every guest.

No experience is required, but prior line cook experience is a plus. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Stock and prep ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations and shift readiness.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and other kitchen support tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
