Job summary

Quaker Steak & Lube is seeking a passionate Line Cook to prepare and cook food for guests according to QSL standards. You will help deliver an outstanding dining experience through dedication to quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring presentation, monitoring inventory, and maintaining a clean workspace while adhering to food safety practices. The role requires teamwork, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior line cook experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Ensures food presentation meets standards and is appealing to guests
• Monitors inventory and advises when additional prep work is needed
• Communicates effectively with others regarding ticket times, potential service problems, and other issues as they arise
• Maintains a clean and stocked work area, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation practices
• All other duties as assigned
