Job summary

Holbrook Life Management- Sugar is seeking a Line Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in Enriched Living and Inspired Living. You will follow recipes, ensure proper plating, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen in a senior living environment.

You will work at stations, support dietary needs, coordinate with culinary leadership, and contribute to hospitality with reliable, team-focused service, including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; culinary degree preferred.
• Good communication and strong work ethic expected.
• Knowledge of food preparation, health and safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes, methods and station protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items across stations with consistency.
• Set up stations to meet service needs (sauté, grill, broil, fry, prep).
• Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines for quality.
• Ensure meals meet dietary needs and service timelines.
• Maintain clean, safe workstations and proper food storage.
• Assist with prep, batch cooking, and service execution.
• Communicate with leadership and team to support operations.
• Support events and special dining experiences as needed.
