Torchy’s Tacos in Memphis, TN is hiring Line Cooks for fry, grill, sauté, steam, and taco assembly in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You’ll prep ingredients, follow Torchy’s recipes, and help keep service moving smoothly.

No experience is required. Flexible schedules, ability to stand for long periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds are expected. Pay starts at $13–$14 per hour with tip share and DailyPay benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to serve our guests’ needs with a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Cooking & Prep: Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations per Torchy’s recipes and standards.
• Quality Control: Monitor dish quality and presentation before service.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow sanitation standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with BOH teammates to ensure timely and correct prep.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients for service.
• Efficiency: Work with urgency during busy periods while maintaining food quality.
