Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Round Rock, TX is hiring Line Cook – Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam, Taco. You’ll work on fry, grill, sauté, steam stations and build each taco to order, delivering Damn Good food made from scratch.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification.
• Certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Open to varied work schedules and hours based on your restaurant’s needs.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cooking & Prep: Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations per recipes and standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure dishes meet Damn Good standards before reaching guests.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized work station and uphold sanitation.
• Team Collaboration: Work with BOH team to ensure timely, correct prep during service.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients for service.
• Efficiency: Maintain urgency during busy periods while preserving quality.
