Job summary

Torchy’s is hiring Line Cooks in Texas to prepare food across fry, grill, sauté and steam stations and assemble tacos to order. You’ll join a fast-paced kitchen with a focus on Damn Good food, teamwork, and quick service.

Expect $12.00 to $16.00 per hour based on experience, with tip share. Flexible schedules, and access to benefits after tenure, plus a strong discount program for you and your spouse.

Qualifications

• Must meet state food handler requirements by first day or per location.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Flexible schedules based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Cook at fry, grill, sauté and steam stations according to Torchy’s recipes and standards.
• Prepare and assemble tacos to order with consistent quality.
• Monitor quality and presentation of dishes before serving.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and follow food safety practices.
• Collaborate with BOH team to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Assist with inventory and stocking as needed.
