Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Line Cook for Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam and Taco stations. You’ll prepare and cook ingredients to Torchy’s Damn Good standards, plate tacos to order, and collaborate with the BOH team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Must meet state and local Food Handler’s certification requirements; previous kitchen experience is preferred. We offer flexible schedules, pooled tips, a discount card for you and your spouse, and benefits for full-time staff after

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local Food Handler’s certification requirements.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cooking & Prep: Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations.
• Quality Control: Monitor quality and presentation of each dish.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure food safety standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with back-of-house team to ensure timely, accurate prep.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients.
