Beyond Catering in Kentucky is seeking a Cook to prepare food to our high-quality standards, following recipes and maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to food safety and cleanliness. Shift duties include various station responsibilities and delivering meals to guests with urgency.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and positive attitude.
• Able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food prep processes (cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping).
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food meeting Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is made properly before serving to guests.
• Restock food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to procedures.
• Work with urgency for dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru.
• Wash cookware and utensils; clean equipment as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
