Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Grand Rapids is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items to spec while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes, focusing on portion control and minimizing waste, while coordinating with the service team to deliver fresh meals on time.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience and a Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Ability to work with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Open, mid-day or close duties as assigned.
