Responsibilities

• Read menus to estimate food requirements and procure ingredients as needed.
• Adjust temperatures and operate ovens, grills, and kettles.
• Prepare soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts per recipes.
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam foods to proper doneness.
• Season and garnish dishes according to recipes.
• Taste and monitor for quality and safety.
• Portion and plate meals, return unused items, and date perishables.
