Job summary

Brandt Hospitality Group in Fargo, ND is seeking a Line Cook/Saute Cook to uphold our signature, quality dishes. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, focusing on correct portions, timing, and plate presentation while following food safety guidelines.

As part of a motivated team, you will prepare meat, fish, vegetables, and other items, weigh ingredients, and help maintain cleanliness and inventory. Experience with high-volume service is a plus; training is provided for new menu items and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service regulations.
• Ability to operate hand tools and kitchen equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift, carry, or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepares food items as ordered.
• Exercises food safety and sanitation practices to deliver a quality product.
• Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.
• Properly prepares meat, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Reviews daily assignments with supervisor.
• Plans for anticipated demand throughout shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and working order of work area, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu.
• Keeps walk in cooler/freezer organized.
• May assist with inventory, temp logs and waste logs.
