Job summary

Fresca, LLC is seeking a Cook to deliver high-quality dishes and oversee kitchen operations during shifts. You’ll ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared to standard, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety.

Your precision, efficiency, and teamwork will directly support the culinary team and guest experience. Responsibilities include following standard recipes, assisting the chef, and ensuring compliance with safety and gaming regulations where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume or fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen tools with precision and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
• Prepare all food items in accordance with standard recipes or supervisor direction to ensure consistency and quality.
• Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of ingredients to maintain freshness and food safety standards.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and refrigeration units to ensure cleanliness and operational condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift; perform general kitchen cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist the chef in food preparation, menu execution, and proper product placement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
