Job summary

Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled Line Cook for the Trolley Square Oyster House in Wilmington, DE. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and focused on executing all cooking duties across stations with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, preparing ingredients, and plating menu items while working with seasonal ingredients. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of related high-volume experience is preferred.
• Food handler certification may be required depending on local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock workstation with minimal supervision
• Executing menu items from start to finish, including preparation of ingredients, butchery of proteins, cooking and plating
• Working with seasonal ingredients
• Participating in the preparation and development of new menu items
• Perfecting your existing skills while learning new techniques and building new skill set
• Master more than one station: Grill, Sautee, Fryer or Garde Manger
• Maintaining cleanliness of BOH work areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
• Participate in regular and deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
