Job summary

Taste in downtown South Haven, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member responsible for preparing high-quality food following Taste standards and production schedules. You will contribute to safety and quality, maintain a clean kitchen, and work closely with FOH during busy periods.

Ideally you bring detail orientation and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Nights and weekends are required, and the job starts with on-site responsibilities at Taste.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a hot kitchen.
• Attention to detail and stress tolerance are a MUST.
• Experience highly desired, but not required—can train someone with great personality and work ethic.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Ability to follow food recipes, procedures and plating guidelines.
• Nights and weekends required.
• Must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality food in accordance with Taste standards, menu specifications and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked and organized work area.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Stock, open and close tasks to maintain kitchen readiness.
