The Halal Guys is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing all menu items, ensuring quality, and maintaining a clean, efficient station to support excellent guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of grill restaurant experience, strong organization, and a proactive team-player attitude, with the ability to lift heavy items and work quickly under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant experience, specifically grill.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepares all food items according to The Halal Guys SOP manual
• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
• Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, rice cooker, and refrigeration equipment
• Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations; assists others in closing the kitchen
• Attends all scheduled team member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty
