Job summary

Esplanade at St Marys, part of Troon, seeks a Line Cook to support the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all outlets on the property. You will follow recipes, assist with inventory, and help maintain kitchen sanitation to meet Health Department guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years cooking experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while taking direction from supervisors.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cooking experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Must be able to take direction

Responsibilities

• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food for all outlets
• Follow standard recipes when preparing items
• Conduct monthly food/supplies inventory
• Maintain equipment and perform sanitation maintenance
• Sort and rinse dishes and transport clean dishes to line
• Distribute food and supplies throughout outlets
• Ensure compliance with Health regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
