Job summary

1UP Entertainment + Social in Carrollwood/Tampa, FL is hiring experienced cooks to join a scratch kitchen inside a vibrant venue with bowling, axe, golf-sim, VR, and arcade experiences. We seek individuals with great attitude, integrity, and a real team-first mindset.

Cook to recipe with portions, temps, and plating; run your station with urgency and coordinate with expo and the team. You’ll handle prep, cleaning, and inventory, and be ready for late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment.
• Strong attitude, integrity, and a team-first mindset.
• Good communication with line, expo and management.
• Able to read a POS ticket and prepare multiple orders quickly and accurately.
• Available late nights, weekends, and holidays; willing to pick up extra shifts.
• Stand and move for long shifts; lift up to 50 lbs; age 18+; food handler certification (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Cook to recipe — portions, temps, plating — and put out consistent food, ticket after ticket.
• Run your station with urgency: read the rail, fire on time, communicate clearly with expo and the team.
• Handle open and close cleaning, daily prep, restocking to par, and keeping inventory sheets accurate.
• Clean as you go — station, equipment, kitchen floors, and assist with dish when needed.
• Flag issues to management early and jump in wherever the team needs you.
