Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Oxnard, CA seeks Heart of House team members to prep and cook menu items to our recipes, keep a clean, safe kitchen, and work with the team to ensure fast, high-quality meals.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented and flexible for evenings/weekends, able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Previous kitchen experience helps but isn’t required; food-safety knowledge is important.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain all required food safety certifications.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts past 12:00 AM.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Buffalo Wild Wings recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen throughout every shift.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
• Practice proper food handling techniques at all times.
• Work closely with managers and fellow team members to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
• Stock, organize, and rotate products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Help create an exceptional dining experience by delivering consistent, high quality food.
