Job summary

The Madison Club in La Quinta, CA seeks an experienced Line Cook to join our five-star dining team. You will stock the kitchen, follow standard recipes, and ensure precise portions while minimizing waste.

Work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to health standards, and obtain a CA Food Handlers Card within 7 days of hire. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay with full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of full-service restaurant experience as a Line Cook or similar role preferred.
• CA Food Handlers Card required or obtain within 7 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation and ServSafe practices.

Responsibilities

• Continuously create and present new ideas to Executive Chef.
• Stock the kitchen with raw materials and ingredients daily.
• Master all basic cooking methods and follow standard recipes.
• Acquire ingredients daily for assigned station and minimize waste.
• Ensure food is plated and presented per house standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
