PopStroke Holdings LLC is seeking a Cook for a fast-paced kitchen environment in The Colony, TX. The role is non-exempt with an hourly pay rate of $18-$24.

You will prepare meals to our high standards, handle food tickets, and maintain a clean, safe workspace on a daily basis. Candidates should have prior cook experience in busy environments, be able to work weekends/holidays, and collaborate well with the kitchen team.

• Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
• Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards.
• Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability.
• Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, countertops, walk-in coolers, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Other duties as assigned.
