Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery's Village Pub Bermuda is seeking a Line Cook to prepare items from our recipes, stock and set up stations, and work with servers to ensure timely guest plating.

You will follow Kitchen Manager guidance, maintain hygiene standards, and participate in cross-training. Candidates must be 21+, have basic knife skills, and hold a health card where required.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knife skills.
• Must possess a Nevada Health Card or equivalent where required.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
• Preparing food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes and desserts.
• Plating prepared foods as guided by Kitchen Manager.
• Coordination with servers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and utensils; storing equipment after shifts.
• Ensuring kitchen operations meet food safety standards.
• Recording fridge and line temperatures daily.
• Cleaning of kitchen equipment and areas daily.
• Cross-training in Prep Cooking and covering duties as needed.
• Putting away food orders as they arrive.
