Qualifications

• Requires basic knife skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively interact with fellow team members in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Must possess a Nevada Health Card.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Comprehension of the English language both written and oral.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
• Preparing food including cleaning, cutting the ingredients, cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes, and desserts.
• Plating prepared foods based on the Kitchen Manager's guidance.
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils, and storing equipment.
• Ensuring kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food and safety standards.
• Daily recording of fridge temperatures and line temperatures.
• Cleaning kitchen equipment such as refrigerators and fryers.
• Cross-functional training in Prep Cooking as necessary.
• Putting away food orders as they arrive.
