The French Pantry and Little Miss Ha in St. Augustine, FL are seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare, cook, and plate dishes to the restaurant’s standards in a fast-paced environment.

We value teamwork, consistency, and safety; you’ll follow recipes, work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and help manage portions and temperatures to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow recipes and adjust as needed.
• Able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience safely using a variety of kitchen tools and sharp knives.
• Able to communicate clearly and follow oral and written instructions.
• Capable of multitasking under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Comfortable working in tight, noisy, hot environments.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items per recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Adhere to portion control and food prep standards to maintain consistency and costs.
• Monitor temperatures and use thermometers to ensure safe cooking and storage.
• Report food quality issues or delays to kitchen leadership.
• Track inventory levels and alert management to low stock.
• Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality expectations and allergies procedures.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and equipment cleanliness.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to support efficient operation.
