Little Ruby's in New York's East Village is hiring for Line Cooks, Dishwashers, and Sous Chefs. We welcome applicants who are passionate about exceptional food and guest experience.

Open Call Dates are Tue 10/6 and Wed 10/7, 11:30am–2:30pm at Little Ruby's East Village; please bring a resume. Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness, following orders from POS, executing recipes to company standard, and delivering gracious hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Company in-venue Line Cook training and Food Handling Certificate required or preferred.
• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Experience as a line cook in a high-volume operation preferred.
• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods.
• Able to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards and station cleanliness.
• Deliver gracious hospitality by anticipating guest needs.
• Follow all orders from POS and expeditor accurately.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of the assigned station and venue.
• Work as part of a team and support fellow staff.
• Execute recipes accurately and to company standard.
