Job summary

Trailborn Hotels in Highlands, NC is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will work closely with the BOH to prepare dishes per recipes, maintain quality, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years sauté/grill experience, a passion for cooking, and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. Part-time, hourly pay range $20.00–$22.00.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Accurately read, measure, and execute recipes.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail in all food prepared.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members to coordinate service.
• Assist other team members with cooking and preparation as needed to meet service demands.
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment.
• All other duties as assigned.
