Crooked Hammock Brewery in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen. You will work across grill, sauté, fry and other stations, preparing, cooking and plating menu items to our standards. You’ll learn recipes, maintain quality, and help the team keep service moving during rushes.

Starting at $18/hour based on experience, with perks through La Vida Hospitality including discounts, training, paid time off for full-time hourly staff, wellness programs, and team events.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years full-service restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods & knife handling.
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed and attention to detail.
• Ability to read & follow cooking directions and instructions.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Be organized with a self-starter and team player.
• Stand, bend, stretch and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook and plate Crooked Hammock menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Work across grill, sauté, fry, oven and other stations.
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and ingredients using proper techniques.
• Maintain quality, consistency and presentation of each dish.
• Learn menu items, recipes and preparation methods.
• Set up and stock stations; monitor product levels and restock as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and kitchen procedures.
• Communicate with cooks and leadership to keep orders moving smoothly.
• Assist with opening, closing and cleaning responsibilities.
