Job summary

Star Cinema Grill in the Houston area is seeking a Line/Prep Cook to deliver an elevated dining experience through quality, consistency, and attention to detail. You will work alongside our culinary team to prepare fresh ingredients and execute dishes to the highest standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high-volume kitchen lines in fast-paced service.
• Knowledge of diverse cooking methods and food prep techniques.
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy while maintaining quality.
• Certified in Food Safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with supplies.
• Prepare ingredients for service (veg, meat, sauces).
• Cook menu items with kitchen staff.
• Follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean station and manage leftovers.
• Stock inventory as needed.
• Ensure timely, high-quality plated food.
• Follow nutrition, sanitation and safety rules.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with team and guests.
