PENN Entertainment is hiring a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will learn and apply the facility’s room outlets knowledge and assist in preparing food items per standard recipes.

The role requires at least one year of line cook experience, ability to read recipes, and effective communication with team members in a fast-paced setting. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with culinary training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Line Cook.
• Basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary Arts degree or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads food orders and prepares items according to menu plans.
• Washes, slices, peels, and cuts foods for cooking or serving.
• Ensures procedures and quality standards follow established guidelines.
• Coordinates with dining room staff and communicates orders.
• Prepares all food items accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintains sanitary, safe, and efficient work areas and equipment.
• Follows Health Department regulations for food handling and cleanliness.
• Completes opening, closing, and side duties as assigned by supervisors.
